Description

This proposed procurement is a Competitive Invitation for Bid (IFB); NAICS 237990 ""Other Heavy and Civil Engineering Construction"" with a size standard of $39,500,000.00.� 100 % Total Small Business Set-Aside. Project Description: The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Baltimore District (NAB), has been tasked to solicit for and award construction services for spillway repairs at Cowanesque Dam in Tioga County, Lawrenceville, Pennsylvania.� The proposed project will be a competitive, firm-fixed price (FFP), design-bid-build (DBB), Invitation for Bid (IFB) procured in accordance with FAR Part 14 Sealed Building. SCOPE: Cowanesque Dam is located in Lawrenceville, PA, near the border with New York State. This project is for the repair of the deteriorated concrete surfaces within the spillway area, and to improve an access road. The repair, construction, and installation of the project will address use of fallen rock to improve an access road, repair of concrete slab and wall panels in the spillway channel by shotcrete methods, cleaning of weepholes and replacement of drain pipes on the concrete liner wall, and removal of any remaining rock from the site. The magnitude of construction is between $500,000.00 and $1,000,000.00. Construction duration is approximately 365 calendar days from Notice to Proceed.� Additional information in accordance with the statement of work will be included in the IFB package. This solicitation will be available on or about 19 MAR 2020, bids due on or about 21 APR 2020. The solicitation will be provided in an electronic format, free of charge to all authenticated account holders of the beta.SAM.gov system. Please note that all USACE acquisitions are considered sensitive, but unclassified documents. Vendors must be registered with the System for Award Management (SAM) database to receive a government contract award. Vendors must also be registered in Representations and Certifications Applications (included in SAM). The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code (237990) applicable to this acquisition must be in vendor�s SAM registration.
