- The NASA Shared Service Center is conducting sources sought for companies that can provide Personal Assistance Service to NASA employees with disabilities on an as-needed basis. Please see attached draft Statement of Work Performance Work Statement (PWS). NASA is anticipating a BPA with a base in four options. The place of performance may take place any of the NASA Centers or satellite offices, an offsite location (for trainings, meetings, and work-related functions in the local commuting area of the employee�s regular duty station), locations outside the commuting area if assistance services are needed for travel with an EWD, a nongovernment or alternate site as approved by the COR or identified on a Call, or a combination of the above, and as approved by the COR or identified on a Call. Provide the following in your response to this Request for Information: 1.0 Business name, address, Data Universal Numbering Systems (DUNS) Number, Commercial and Government Entity (CAGE) Code, and point of contact information 2.0 Business size under NAICS 624120, including socio-economic category (Large, Small, 8(a) Participant, Small Disadvantaged Business, HUBZone, Woman-Owned Small Business, Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business, or Non Profit) 3.0 Capability Statement � no more than 8 pages � Describe your organization�s capability of providing personal assistance services as describe in the PWS. 4.0 State any clarifications that are needed on the draft PWS using the attached questions template. Questions can be submitted in writing (e-mail) using the questions template to Desiree Vogt at Desiree.L.Vogt@nasa.gov. Telephone questions will not be accepted. Respond by the date and time listed for the Response Date in Contract Opportunities in Beta.Sam.Gov. This is a request for information only. This notice shall not be construed as a formal solicitation or an obligation on the part of the Government to acquire any products or services. In addition, it does not guarantee that a subsequent solicitation will be issued. Submission of any information in response to this Sources Sought notice is voluntary and will assist in selecting the appropriate solicitation type/method. Costs associated with any submission shall not be reimbursed by the Government. THE GOVERNMENT IS NOT SEEKING PROPOSALS AND WILL NOT ACCEPT UNSOLICITED PROPOSALS. All interested and capable contractors are encouraged to respond. Respondents will not be notified of the results of the sources sought evaluation. The results of this sources sought notice will assist the Contracting Officer in determining whether an 8(a), Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSB), Certified HUBZone Small Business, Woman-Owned Small Businesses (WOSB), Small Business set-aside, or full and open competition is an acceptable strategy for this procurement. Responses to this synopsis may be used to aid in establishing realistic, achievable small business participation goals.
