- NAICS Code: 541715� Research and Development in the Physical, Engineering, and Life Sciences (except Nanotechnology and Biotechnology) The U.S. Army, Army Contracting Command-New Jersey (ACC-NJ) Contracting Center, Picatinny Arsenal, NJ 07806-5000, on behalf of the U.S. Army Futures Command�s Combat Capabilities Development Command (CCDC) - Armaments Center at Picatinny Arsenal, NJ, is seeking market research on businesses who have demonstrated experience in highly specialized engineering & technical support for the technical engineering, engineering services, specialty design, advanced manufacturing, integration, and assessment capabilities in support of various Armaments and Weapon systems.� Design, development, demonstration, and transition of technologies, devices, systems, and processes solutions to enhance the US Army�s capabilities while addressing Modernization and Readiness Objects. Services and technology solutions to enhance Army materiel and their associated components, sub-systems, and devices with a primary focus on Armaments, Munitions, and Solider Systems, is sought.� CCDC AC, Picatinny, New Jersey, 07806-5000, is currently seeking qualified sources.� Information is required in support of six (6) Strategic Technical Thrust Areas (TTAs). 1) Advanced Manufacturing Environment, 2,) Pilot Processing and Transformative Manufacturing 3) Digital Thread & Cyber Security, 4) Power Solutions, 5) Directed Energy, 6) Artificial Intelligence, 7) Workforce Development and Enhanced Training/Education, and 8) Virtual Reality / Augmented Reality (VR/AR). IT IS THE RESPONSIBILITY OF POTENTIAL OFFERORS TO MONITOR THE GPE FOR ADDITIONAL INFORMATION PERTAINING TO THIS REQUIREMENT.� BACKGROUND: CCDC-AC is a major element of the U.S. Army�s Combat Capabilities Development Command (CCDC) with primary responsibility for cradle to grave life cycle engineering of armament materiel, including R&D, concept evaluation, advanced development, full scale engineering development and engineering support for production, fielding, and demilitarization.� Armament materiel is consistently described within the CCDC-AC as multiple materials that comprise every basic element and component of armaments and ammunition and their respective weapon systems.� Solutions are needed to address Army Priority Research and Development Areas with a focus on advancing the sciences of manufacturing, RF Electronic Materials, Optimized information transfer (sensing, communication, digital files, etc with unparalleled security), Hypersonics (materials & processes), Artificial Intelligence, Materials by Design, and workforce development to meet Army Modernization and Sustainment Requirements. The development of these technologies encompasses the following: material development, characterization, engineering, scale-up, equipment selection, mode of production, design for producibility, testing, and technology transfer. These state-of-the-art technologies will require new methods and materials to be developed for the development, engineering, testing, integration, and assessment of these enabling technologies to support RDT&E, Operation & Maintenance (O&M) and Sustainment Support for Tri-Service/DoD Materiel systems. � The applicable NAICS code for this requirement is 541715 with a Small Business Size Standard of 1,000 employees. The Product Service Code is AD23. Businesses of all sizes are encouraged to respond; however, each respondent must clearly identify their business size in their capabilities statement. SUBMISSION DETAILS: Each potential source is requested to provide the contract number(s), dollar value(s) and brief description of work previously or currently being performed, which specifically demonstrates the contractor's ability to successfully satisfy the requirements contained within this sources sought notice. Firms shall also provide point of contact information, where available, for the efforts cited above.� In addition, please provide the firm�s name and address, point of contact with telephone number and email address, CAGE Code and DUNS number, and size of business (i.e. large, small, disadvantaged, veteran owned, woman owned, etc.).
