Description
This modification references the ARL BAA which can be found at Grants.gov or https://beta.sam.gov/ : W911NF-17-S-0003. � Synopsis: The Combat Capabilities Development Command (CCDC), Army Research Laboratory (ARL) is planning to consider proposed research and development solutions under the ARL Broad Agency Announcement (BAA) W911NF-17-S-0003� for Basic and Applied Scientific Research topic Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) under the Information Sciences Campaign (section II.A.4.k.). Upon receipt, the Government will evaluate proposals through a scientific review process in accordance with the evaluation criteria referenced in the ARL BAA to determine which proposals will be awarded an OTA under these BAA Topics. The Government reserves the right to cancel this special notice without award for any reason or for no reason. Issuance of this notice does not commit the Government to pay for any preparation costs incurred in compiling a response. As a general matter, all requirements referenced in BAA W911NF-17-S-0003 apply to this effort. The Government intends to award one Other Transaction Agreement (OTA) in the area Labeling Prototype outlined below. However, if funding subsequently becomes available, funding of additional awards may be possible at that time. The Government may choose to make awards based on the entire proposed solution, or portions of the solution. Following evaluation, proposals will be categorized according to their funding priority:� Category 1 proposals are those that the Government recommends for acquisition with the current available funding. Category 2 proposals are those that the Government recommends for acquisition if additional funding becomes available. Category 3 proposals are those that the Government does not recommend funding.
