- The Library of Congress is seeking�capabilities statements from companies that can provide a service to allow access to at least 264 selected daily newspapers and 7 magazines in audio format via telephone to U.S. residents that are blind, physically disabled, or unable to use conventional media.�This service must be delivered by a toll free telephone line for Library of Congress patrons and be accessible 24/7. The only currently known access for this service is the Newsline service provided by the National Federation of the Blind. Please submit your company's capabilities statement to provide these services to the point of contact on this SAM opportunity listing before this notice closes. Your company's capability statement must contain enough information for the Library to full understand your service to the extent that it fulfills the minimum requirement of the attached draft statement of work. This is for market research purposes only and no contract shall be awarded based on any capabality statement submitted. All costs associated with the creation and/or submission of capability statements shall not be reimbursed by the Library under any circumstances.
