Description
DESCRIPTION: MARKET SURVEY AND SOURCES SOUGHT ANNOUNCEMENT (SSN or Notice) FOR BROADCAST CAMERA ROBOTICS SYSTEMS. The Office of the United States Senate Sergeant at Arms (SAA or Senate) seeks to identify and solicit comments from capable sources of broadcast camera robotics systems for Pan, Tilt, Zoom and Focus (PTZF). THIS IS A REQUEST FOR INFORMATION ONLY. This SSN is issued solely for information and planning purposes � it does not constitute a Request for Proposal (RFP) or Request for Quote (RFQ).� Further, it is not a promise to issue an RFP or solicitation or RFQ in the future. This SSN does not commit the SAA to contract for any supply or service whatsoever. The SAA does not seek proposals or quotes at this time and will not accept unsolicited proposals or quotes. The SAA will not pay for any information or administrative costs incurred in responding to this SSN. All costs associated with responding to this SSN will be solely at the interested party�s expense. This synopsis contains the currently available information and is subject to change at any time. It is the responsibility of potential Vendors to monitor this website for additional information pertaining to this requirement that may be posted. REQUIREMENTS: ��All requirements listed below are mandatory unless otherwise noted.� Each item listed below requires a response. 1.� An integral purpose of this Sources Sought announcement is to identify and understand what broadcast camera robotics systems meeting the requirements of the Senate are available in the market. There may be more than one product or component required to provide the full functionalities, capabilities, and the features of the broadcast camera robotics system required by the Senate. Those products will need to integrate to meet the Senate requirements. a.�� Description of Vendor�s broadcast camera robotics system for Pan, Tilt, Zoom and Focus and robotic control system that meet the Senate requirements, including the major component products; b.�� If the solution is dependent upon more than one product or component, description of how the different products or components integrate. 2.�� The functionalities, features, or capabilities under consideration include but are not limited to the items listed on ATTACHMENT A � FUNCTIONALITIES, CAPABILITIES, FEATURES MATRIX. Vendors must provide the information on each functionality, feature or capability on the Matrix for the broadcast camera robotics system and robotic control system proposed. Vendors must identify the functionalities, capabilities, or features which their robotics and control systems cannot provide or meet and state why. ��� INSTRUCTIONS:� Vendors responding to this SSN must submit an information package as follows:� � � 1. Concise, brief and direct response to section �1.� under� REQUIREMENTS above; 2. Completed ATTACHMENT A � FUNCTIONALITIES, CAPABILITIES, FEATURES MATRIX as instructed on the matrix in response to section �2.� under REQUIREMENTS above; 3. A list of current customers of Vendor�s proposed broadcast camera robotics and control systems with contact information (company name, department or division and address, person�s contact name, phone number and email address); 4. Company product literature or brochure providing additional information on Vendor�s proposed broadcast camera robotics system and robotic control system, including component products and services with descriptions and prices; � 5. Business information including company name and address; Dun and Bradstreet number; and point of contact name with telephone and e-mail address; and 6.�� The response shall not exceed fifteen (15) pages excluding �2. Completed ATTACHMENT A,� and �4. Company product literature or brochure.� Unnecessarily elaborate submissions are discouraged. Pages over the page limitation may be discarded. Access by the SAA to information in any files attached to the email is the responsibility of the submitting party. Neither the SAA nor the Senate is responsible for any failure to access vendor's information. Responses to this Sources Sought request are due no later than March 20, 2020, and must be submitted electronically via email only at acquisitions@saa.senate.gov to the attention of Cora R. Carag. The subject line of the email message shall be: �2020-S-00007 Broadcast Camera Robotics and Control Systems. No other method of transmittal shall be accepted. �If a submission exceeds 5 MB, it must be broken up and transmitted separately noting the number of transmission (Ex. 2nd of 5) on the subject line. The information contained in this Notice will be the only information provided by the Senate during this Sources Sought process. The SAA will not provide answers or respond to questions or comments received with regard to this Notice. All qualified sources should respond to this Notice by submitting the information package in accordance with the instructions provided. Failure to provide the complete information requested in the Notice will result in disqualification of the vendor from further consideration. Vendors responding to this Notice and deemed qualified by the SAA may be requested to submit a proposal in response to an RFP or solicitation or a quote in response to an RFQ (whichever the SAA deemed appropriate) that may be issued afterwards. Only those selected Vendors will be requested to submit their proposals or quotes. The SAA will not conduct debriefings on the results of the qualification process. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL. THIS NOTICE CONSTITUTES THE ENTIRE SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE AND IS THE ONLY INFORMATION PROVIDED BY THE SAA OR SENATE. ANY REQUESTS FOR ADDITIONAL INFORMATION WILL NOT BE HONORED.
