- The Army Contracting Command - Rock Island (ACC-RI) intends to issue solicitation W52P1J-20-R-0045 for Cable TV and Internet services in the Kuwait area of responsibility (AOR). This announcement serves as the presolicitation notice for the Cable TV and Internet services requirement and the establishment of a site-visit that will be held in Kuwait on 09 and 10 March 2020. �A tour will be provided of several of the requirement locations.� This site-visit is to familiarize interested companies with the requirements and physical location of services that will be performed under the Cable TV and Internet services contract. �The agenda will be forthcoming. �A draft of the Performance Work Statement (PWS) is attached.� Previously, a sources sought announcement was issued on 31 October 2019 under solicitation number W52P1J-20-R-0022, seeking interest from industry prior to release of a potential solicitation. ACC-RI intends to conduct a full and open, competition to award a single Indefinite Delivery-Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract. �The Period of Performance is anticipated to be one base year plus four one year evaluated option periods. �It is estimated that a Formal Solicitation will be issued in April 2020. �This date is subject to change and future notices will provide updates. The successful Offeror for this acquisition will be required to provide cable television and internet services Kuwait Area of Responsibility (AOR). These services are dedicated to providing a range of services from Armed Forces Network (AFN), AFN plus News, AFN plus Commercial Channels, Off-post AFN Satellite; Wired and or Wireless internet services Department of Defense (DoD). The maximum number of site-visit representatives from each interested organization is two. It is the responsibility of interested parties to provide transportation to Camp Arifjan. The U.S. Government will be responsible for picking up all interested participants at the Camp Arifjan Entry Control Point (ECP) (more details will be forthcoming), transporting them to the site visit locations (inclusive of those located outside of Camp Arifjan) and dropping all parties back at the Camp Arifjan ECP.� All parties are responsible for transportation to and from the country of Kuwait, entry into Kuwait (securing visa), transportation to and from Kuwait City International Airport (KCIA), transportation to and from Camp Arifjan, Kuwait and their choice of lodging. Day 1: 09 March 2020 will be at Camp Arifjan. Lunch fee - $5.65 USD Day 2: 10 March 2020 will be at Camp Buehring. Access to the secure U.S. Government facilities is restricted. Information submitted on this form will be used for installation access to secure facilities during the site visit. Failure to submit the �Intent to Attend Cable TV and Internet Services Site Visit� form and required supporting documentation will result in forfeiture of the right to attend this site visit. Attendees will be required to present two forms of state-issued identification upon arrival to secure locations.� Only those individuals who have provided the correct information and have passed the proper screening will be allowed to board the busses for the site visit at Camp Arifjan; therefore, it is important that all necessary information be provided by the date requested. If an individual does not pass the screening for access to a secure facility, the company representative will be notified prior to the site visit. Please complete and submit the attached �Intent to Attend Cable TV and Internet Services Site Visit� form and required supporting documentation to the Points of Contact listed in this announcement no later than 0800 Central Time, Wednesday, 04 March 2020.� All submissions shall be submitted to both Mr. Rock D. Woodstock (rock.d.woodstock.civ@mail.mil ) and Mr. Daniel C. Cutler (daniel.c.cutler2.civ@mail.mil).� Early submissions are encouraged. Please reference Cable TV and Internet Services Site Visit in the subject of your e-mail. This presolicitation notice and site-visit announcement neither constitutes a Solicitation or Invitation for Bid, nor does it restrict the U.S. Government to an ultimate acquisition approach. This announcement should not be construed as a commitment by the U.S. Government for any purpose.
