Description
The Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) intends to issue a Cost-Plus-Fixed-Fee (CPFF) and Firm-Fixed-Price (FFP) modification to McNally Industries of 340 W Benson Ave, Grantsburg, Wisconsin on a previously awarded Basic Ordering Agreement contract N00024-17-G-5375 for four (4) additional MK 6 Ammunition Hoists and Foreign Military Sales (FMS) ammunition hoists 2J spares. The scope will include the procurement of new MK 6 Ammunition Hoist upgrade component sets, services to install upgrade component sets, engineering services efforts to maintain the drawing package, and prepare Engineering Change Proposals and other technical documentation associated with the MK 6 Ammunition Hoist. This effort is required to support the Aegis Modernization program, Destroyer New Construction, Foreign Military Sales, and general U.S. Navy Fleet Support. McNally Industries is the only responsible source, which possesses the production capability, knowledge, and proven experience to build and deliver the MK 6 Gun Ammunition Hoist to fulfill the Navy�s Aegis Modernization, Destroyer shipbuilding, and FMS program requirements. The contract will be awarded pursuant to 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1), only one responsible source and no other type of supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. The proposed contract action is for supplies and services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiation with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all expressions of interest received within fifteen days after the date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. Any submissions will not be reimbursed by the Government � the entire cost of any submission will be at the sole expense of the source submitting the information. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract modification based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
