- Please note that the response date of this Sources Sought Notice has been extended from�26 February 2020 to 25�March 2020. Sources Sought Notice Maintenance and Repair of Traffic Lights Ramstein Air Base, Germany Synopsis: 700 CONS/PKA, Kaiserslautern, Germany, is publicizing this sources sought to gather industry information with respect to an anticipated follow-on contract for the Maintenance and Repair of Traffic Lights. This sources sought is issued solely for collecting industry information to be used for the purpose of preliminary acquisition planning. This notice does not constitute a Request for Proposal/Solicitation, Request for Quote, or Invitation for Bid. The intent of this notice is to identify potential, qualified, experienced and interested offerors for further planning purposes. It should not be construed as a commitment of the Government for any purpose other than market research and is not restricted to a particular acquisition approach. No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this announcement or any follow-up information requests. Respondents will not be notified of the data collected as a result of this market research and any information submitted by respondents to this sources sought is strictly voluntary. This announcement constitutes Government market research and may result in revisions in both its requirements and anticipated acquisition strategies based on industry responses. Requirement Description: The contractor shall provide all management, tools, supplies, equipment, and labor necessary to maintain and repair all Siemens Sitraffic C800 traffic lights at Ramstein Air Base in a manner that shall ensure continuous and reliable operation. Maintenance and repair services shall be in accordance with DIN EN 50556, VDE 0832, VDE regulations 0100, 0800, local transportation codes, manufacturer�s specifications and commercial practices, whichever are more stringent. For all services under this contract only Siemens employees and/or subcontracted employees that are properly trained and authorized by the manufacturer to maintain the Siemens Sitraffic C800 system shall work on the systems. Interested sources shall respond to this sources sought notice no later than 17:00 PM Central European Time,�25�March 2020.
