THIS SYNOPSIS IS NOT A SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE; DO NOT CONTACT THE CONTRACTING OFFICE TO PROVIDE CAPABILITIES STATEMENTS OR NOTICE OF INTEREST. ���������������������������������������������������������� Department of the Air Force, Air Combat Command, 355th Contracting Squadron, will solicit for a Firm Fixed Price Construction contract at Davis-Monthan (DM) Air Force Base (AFB), Tucson, Arizona (AZ). �The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 238220 (Plumbing, Heating, and Air-Conditioning Contractors) with a small business size standard of $16.5 Million. �The work includes the alteration of exterior grading/man-made drainage to divert/stop water infiltration into the facility, the replacement-upgrade of Life Safety equipment, the replacement/adjustment of the wet pipe sprinkler system, the replacement upgrade of HVAC systems, the replacement-upgrade of electrical system, the replacement of lighting fixtures, the replacement of floor/wall/ceiling finishes, the reconfiguration of the floor plan to create new mission required auditorium/emergency management space(s), the abatement of identified toxic materials. Additionally, the project will include the phasing of construction activities as the facility will be occupied during construction. All work shall comply with the current Base Design Compatibility Guidelines (DCG), and supervision necessary to complete the following project at DMAFB, AZ in accordance with (IAW) the project specifications: FBNV 17-0008 Repair AOC FAC 70 IAW FAR 36.204; the project magnitude is between $1,000,000.00 and $5,000,000.00. THIS PROCUREMENT WILL BE A TOTAL�HUBZONE BUSINESS SET-ASIDE. The successful contractor shall be selected based on the lowest proposed price and upon determination by the Contracting Officer that the prospective contractor is responsible IAW FAR 9.1.� An initial Pre-Performance conference will be held at DMAFB, Tucson, AZ.� ������ The estimated performance period for this project is not to exceed 230 calendar days after notice to proceed. �Interested HUBZone certified firms will be required to show evidence of bonding capability to the maximum magnitude of the project as outlined in the solicitation. The solicitation is expected to be issued on or around 11 Mar 2020. �The closing date and time for submission of offers will be contained in the solicitation package. �The entire solicitation will be available in electronic format, at no cost, from the Contract Opportunities section at www.beta.sam.gov ; no paper copies will be issued.� Potential offers are responsible for monitoring this site for the release of the solicitation package.� To be eligible for contract award, offerors must be registered and marked active in the System for Award Management (SAM).� Register via the SAM Web site at www.sam.gov.� All responsible contractors may submit a proposal that shall be considered by this Agency.
