Description
Synopsis. a. The Naval Facilities Engineering Center (NAVFAC) Expeditionary Warfare Center (EXWC) has a potential requirement to maintain a ready fleet of naval expeditionary equipment assets which support the mission of the United States Naval Expeditionary Forces and other Department of Defense (DoD) components worldwide.��EXWC�s Expeditionary Maintenance Centers (EMC) is the principal organic resource for maintaining the readiness levels of naval expeditionary equipment assets and to augment capabilities of EXWC�s EMCs, EXWC manages an Equipment Support Services (ESS) Contract. Naval expeditionary equipment assets include a variety of standard commercial and militarized vehicles and equipment (refer to section 1.4 of the ESS Performance Work Statement). b. EXWC is conducting market research to determine the range of available contractors and assess their capabilities to support the Navy�s maintenance program on located within the Contiguous United States (CONUS). This support would include: inspection services, preventative maintenance services, refurbishment, repair, and overhaul services, upgrade, modernization, and modification services, and logistic management information and services (LMIS) of the naval construction equipment and support vehicles to make the ready fleet available for immediate deployment.
