Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; offers are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is CT2285-20 and this solicitation is issued as a Request For Proposals (RFP). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2020-04. The North American Industry Classification System code is 313310, Textile and Fabric Finishing Mills. This requirement is unrestricted. UNICOR, Federal Prison Industries, Inc., intends to enter into a one (1) year base period with four (4) one-year options if exercised, firm-fixed-price, requirements type contract for the following commercial item(s): Twill, Polyester, White fabric for use in manufacturing Navy jumpers for wear by Navy personnel as part of the enlisted service dress white uniform. The finished products are for sale to the DLA Troop Support (Defense Logistics Agency).
