Description
Dear Industry Partners, As previously detailed in the subject notices, DHS�s Office of the Chief Procurement Officer (OCPO) and the Office of the Chief Information Officer (OCIO) are hosting a Data Center and Cloud Optimization (DCCO) Industry Day on Tuesday, March 10, 2020. �The goal of the Industry Day is to follow up on the previously issued Request for Information (RFI) and the Executive Summary - Objectives and Scope document posted on beta.SAM.gov.� In addition, Industry Day will be an opportunity for the Department to share its vision for the DCCO requirement and for industry to provide valuable feedback.� The Government will also provide an opportunity for vendors to meet with DHS representatives during One-on-One sessions.� Companies interested in participating in a One-on-One session that are located outside of the Washington D.C. metropolitan area will be given priority registration for One-on-One sessions held the following day on Wednesday, March 11, 2020.� If additional sessions are needed, DHS will hold One-on-One sessions within a week at a date and time determined by the Government for companies local to the Washington D.C. metropolitan area.�� The specific date/time of One-on-One sessions for individual companies will be confirmed prior to March 5, 2020. Please be advised that One-on-One session slots are limited and will be assigned on a first come first serve basis. Registration Instructions: Registration is required for each attendee.� Industry partners are limited to no more than two (2) individuals per company. If you are interested in attending the Industry Day, please register at the below link no later than March 3, 2020, 5:00pm EST.� Reservations through any other means will not be accepted or allowed. https://cvent.me/0lxV8B Seating is limited, so please register as soon as possible.� A follow up email will be sent after the registration closing date to confirm your registration status as confirmed or waitlisted. When registering to attend the Industry Day through the link provided above, companies will have an opportunity to indicate whether they would like to attend a One-on-One session.� In addition, companies are asked to confirm if they are located within or outside of the Washington D.C. metropolitan area.� Please see below for additional Industry Day details: Date: March 10, 2020 Time: 9:30am-11:30am Location: Homeland Security Acquisition Institute (HSAI) 90 K Street NE, Suite 1200 Washington, D.C. 20002 Attendance will be taken for all Industry Day participants. You must have a Government issued photo ID to attend and enter the building. �Participants must go through a security screening process at the front desk of the building before entry is allowed.� Attendees are asked to arrive by 8:45am to clear screening and to be escorted to the conference space. �A DHS team member will be in the lobby of the building to assist. Submission of Questions and Recommended Topics for Discussion: Industry is invited to submit questions in writing prior to Industry Day in response to the Executive Summary � Objectives and Scope document posted to beta.SAM.gov.� The Government will present and respond to a selected number of questions during the Industry Day Presentation.� In addition, Industry may submit recommended topics of discussion to be addressed during Industry Day. The Government has provided a �Questions and Topics of Discussion Template,� please see Attachment I, that MUST be used for all submissions. All questions and recommended topics for discussion must be received no later than Tuesday, March 3, 2020 at 5:00pm EST and should be emailed to: dccoacq@hq.dhs.gov No questions/requests will be accepted after this date and time. Additional Information: The Government will NOT provide responses that include internal agency information. Please be mindful of this when preparing questions and topics for discussion. No vendor materials and/or associated presentation documentation shall be accommodated and/or accepted and evaluated by the Government in support of One-on-One sessions.� Remarks and/or explanations during One-on-One sessions will not qualify the terms and/or conditions of any future solicitation.� Company representatives taking part in One-on-One sessions shall not electronically record any of the discussions.
