Description

NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE MODIFICATION � Under the authority of FAR 6.302-1, the Department of Energy (DOE) Strategic Petroleum Reserve Project Management Office (SPRPMO) intends to execute a modification to extend Contract No. DE-FE0023538 for Architect-Engineer Services with Vali Cooper International (VCI) for up to six (6) months.� The incumbent's contract period of performance ends on February 13, 2020.� A competitive acquisition is currently being conducted for the follow-on Architect-Engineer Services contract(s) for the SPRPMO; however, it is not expected to be completed prior to the incumbent's contract expiration.� This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals.� If a firm believes that DOE should not extend this contract, the firm should submit a capability statement via email to the Contracting Officer, Mary C. Roark, at mailto:mary.roark@spr.doe.gov by January 29, 2020, 2:00pm local time.
