- Description
- The Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) intends to increase the contract ceiling for the Littoral Combat Ship (LCS) Sustainment Execution Contract West (SEC West) Multiple Award Indefinite-Delivery Indefinite-Quantity (MAC IDIQ Tier I) contracts. As awarded, the MAC IDIQ Tier I provides for complex maintenance and modernization work for Chief of Naval Operations (CNO) Availabilities, Continuous Maintenance, Facility Maintenance, Preventative Maintenance, Emergent Maintenance and Corrosion Control for LCS homeported under the Southwest Regional Maintenance Center (SWRMC). The MAC Tier I IDIQ contracts were awarded as follows: N00024-18-D-4325 (BAE Systems, San Diego Ship Repair, Inc., 2205 East Belt Street, San Diego, CA 92113), N00024-18-D-4326 (Vigor Marine LLC, 5555 North Channel Avenue, Portland, OR 97217), N00024-18-D-4327 (General Dynamics dba National Steel and Shipbuilding Company (NASSCO), 2798 Harbor Drive, San Diego, CA 92113), N00024-18-D-4328 (Marine Group Boat Works, LLC, 997 G Street, Chula Vista, CA 91910), N00024-18-D-4329 (Pacific Ship Repair and Fabrication, Inc., 1625 Rigel Street, San Diego, CA 92113), and N00024-18-D-4330 (East Coast Repair and Fabrication, LLC, 5803 Curlew Drive, Norfolk, VA 23502). Per the Acquisition Plan, the IDIQ contract ceiling for all IDIQ Tier I awardees was $650,000,000 at the time of award. However, the awarded contracts contained ceilings of $250,000,000 due to the contracts awarding prior to the approval of the updated Acquisition Strategy. When approved on 28 March 2018, the updated Acquisition Strategy included additional LCS ships and increased maintenance requirements in the program of record, necessitating a ceiling increase to $800,000,000. Subsequently, On 03 July 2019, the Acquisition Plan was revised to incorporate a ceiling increase from $650,000,000 by $150,000,000 to $800,000,000. Thus, the MAC-IDIQ Tier I contracts will be modified to increase the total ceiling price by $550,000,000 from $250,000,000 to $800,000,000. In accordance with the clause Rolling Admissions for Future Additional IDIQ-MAC Holders, any vendors interested in participating in this MAC and the increased ceiling opportunity are encouraged to contact the Contracting Officer, Erica Fetter, at erica.fetter@navy.mil or the Contract Specialist, Brian Romano, at brian.romano2@navy.mil. Firms interested in subcontracting opportunities should contact BAE Systems, San Diego Ship Repair, Inc.; Vigor Marine LLC; NASSCO; Marine Group Boat Works, LLC; Pacific Ship Repair and Fabrication, Inc.; or East Coast Repair and Fabrication directly.
