- NCAO Laundry Services - Flame Resistant uniform rental and launder services This is a Sources Sought announcement for acquisition planning purposes. No formal solicitation for this work exists at this time. This notice is being issued to help determine the availability of qualified small businesses technically capable of meeting the Government requirement and to determine the method of acquisition, including whether a small business social-economic set-aside is possible. All eligible and qualified contractors may submit capability statements for consideration. Capability statements received will be reviewed to determine the quantity and availability of small business contractors who have the experience, technical level of expertise, administration and management capability to perform the effort described below. The capability statements received will be used to determine the Bureau of Reclamation's (Reclamation) overall procurement strategy. The Contractor shall provide all labor, supervision, equipment, transportation, and materials to perform flame-resistant uniform rentals and laundry services. Specific objectives include: > Flame-resistant Uniform Rentals: Provide 11 set rentals (33 employees), racks, hangers, and dirty laundry bins. > Launder Requirements > Dirty Laundry/Clean Laundry pick-up and delivery (Weekly): Estimated to be 40 coveralls and 132 uniforms weekly > Hanging requirements: Rented flame-resistant uniforms shall be hung on Contractor provided hangers and racks. NCAO owned flame resistant and general use coveralls will have NCAO owned hangers and racks supplied by the Government to have cleaned items hung on. > Minor repairs or replacement of uniforms or coveralls The project will be solicited as a base + 4 option years contract. Services will be provided to the following NCAO project areas: > Keswick Power Plant, 16515 Keswick Dam Road, Redding, CA, 96003, 1st Floor > Shasta Power Plant, 16349 Shasta Dam Blvd., Shasta Lake, CA, 96019, 5th Floor The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code for this acquisition is 812332 (Industrial Launderers). The small business size standard for this NAICS code is $41.5 million. Interested contractors may submit capability statements that include the following information: (1) Firm's name, address, telephone number, business size and type (8(a), HUBZone, Service-Disabled Veteran, Small Business, Woman Owned, etc.). Point of contact including name, position, phone number and email address. (2) Demonstration of the firm's previous experience as a prime or subcontractor performing this type of service. (3) Capability statements are to be received no later than 3:00 PM Pacific Time on February 25, 2020.
