End Amendment A0002*** ***Questions and Answers are posted (see attached) 12 FEB 2020*** ***Amendment A0001 added�4 FEB 2020 A0001 has been attached, extending the final due date for proposals to February 19, 2020 at 5:00pm ET. Questions and Answers will be posted as soon as possible. To ensure all questions are answered effectively, the Government cannot guarantee responses to questions on this procurement submitted after February 6, 2020. End Amendment A0001*** This solicitation follows the pre-solicitation announcement 70B03C19R00000069, posted June 17, 2019.� The new RFP number is 70B03C20R00000011. This is a solicitation for the High Energy Rail Inspection systems for U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP). ��The requirements for the proposed action will include production and installation of rail systems as well as maintenance, warranty, and training on those systems. The intended procurement will be an Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity contract with a total contract ceiling of $379 million.� The proposed contract would include a five year ordering period.� Order under the proposed contract can include up to ten years of options.� The solicitation is expected to result in multiple awards. The acquisition is subject to the Trade Agreements Act.� Therefore, one or more of the items under this acquisition is subject to the World Trade Organization Government Procurement Agreement and Free Trade Agreements. The planned solicitation includes certain sustainability requirements from the Federal Acquisition Regulation including: 52.223-9, 52.223-11, 52.223-12, 52.223-15, 52.223-16, 52.223-17, 52.223-18, 52.223-20, and 52.223-21. This procurement is solicited using a full-and-open competitive solicitation for commercial items. �Therefore, all responsible sources may submit a proposal that will be considered by CBP. �The solicitation will be subject to the rules of Federal Acquisition Regulation Parts 12 and 15.� Additional details can be found in the attached RFP documents. CBP intends to award one or more contracts under this solicitation by September 30, 2020.
