Description

Combined Synopsis/Solicitation (Best Value) The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), Office of Marine and Aviation Operations/Marine Operations requires two new 300� sets of shore power cables in accordance with the attached Statement of Need. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial services prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. (ii) Solicitation number NMAN7200-20-00795 is issued as a firm fixed price, commercial, request for quotation (RFQ). (iii) The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2020-04. (iv) This is a small business set-aside. The NAICS code for this acquisition is 335931, Current Carrying Wiring Device Manufacturing; the small business size standard is 500 employees. (v) Line items are as follows: CLIN 1:� Two sets new 300� shore power cables (vi) Description of requirements for the items to be acquired:� The NOAA ship Fairweather requires two sets of 300� shore power cables (3 cables per set) with specific ABS certified fittings, with delivery. Vendor must provide quote including shipping and delivery time frame on company letterhead, and referencing the solicitation # NMAN7200-20-00795 in the email subject. One set is required immediately. (vii) Delivery location:� NOAA Ship Fairweather Pier 90/91 2001 W. Garfield St. Seattle, WA 98119 (viii) See terms and conditions in attached document. (xiv) Defense Priorities and Allocations Systems (DPAS) and assigned ratings is not applicable. (xv) Offers shall be submitted electronically via email to joel.heisler@noaa.gov no later than 1700 hrs PST, February 21, 2020.
