- Combined Synopsis/Solicitation This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This is a new requirement for Eglin AFB.� Previous P5 trailer awards from other installation can be found through beta.sam.gov. The Request for Quotation (RFQ) number FA8678-20-P-0002 shall be used to reference any written quote provided under this RFQ. The RFQ document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2020-04 Effective 15 January 2020. This is a 100% set-aside for small businesses. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this project is 336212 with a size standard of 1000 employees. Vendors must be registered under NAICS code 336212. This is a firm fixed price requirements type contract for non-personal services. Award will be made to the vendor with the Lowest Priced Technically Acceptable (LPTA) quote. Technical acceptability is based on the salient features listed in the attached document labeled ""P5 POD Trailer Salient Characteristics"". There are no available drawings provided by the government to support the salient characteristics. However,�product specifications�are required from vendors with their quote submittal.�� The shipping/delivery�is the responsibility of the United States Government.� Delivery date needs to be by September 2020. The purpose of this combined synopsis and solicitation is for the purchase and delivery of a quantity of five P5 System Pod Trailers in accordance with the attached salient characteristics. The Government reserves the right to cancel this RFQ, either before or after the closing date.
