Description

Pre-Solicitation Notice: The purpose of this synopsis is to provide notification of the Government�s expected solicitation release set for the date of on or around Wednesday 26 February 2020. The solicitation number will be W15KN-20-Q-5087. Procurement Description: The Army Contracting Command - New Jersey (ACC-NJ) is procuring a new requirement for Refuse and Recycling Services on behalf of the 99th Readiness Division (RD) in Narragansett, RI.� The Government intends to issue a solicitation under the Total Small Business Set-Aside preference for this requirement.� The Period of Performance will be one, twelve-month base period and four, twelve-month option periods. This requirement will be funded utilizing Operation and Maintenance - Army Reserve (OMAR) funds. The solicitation will result in a new Firm Fixed Price contract awarded to the lowest priced technically acceptable offeror. �� Description of Services: The contractor shall provide all personnel, supplies, supervision, tools, materials, equipment, transportation, fuel and other items and non-personal services necessary to provide refuse collection and recycling services in accordance with this Performance Work Statement (PWS) except as those items specified as government furnished property and services.� The contractor shall perform to the standards in the contract as well as all local, state and federal regulations. ***Please note that this notice does not constitute a Request for Proposal (RFP). �All responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation, which will be considered by the Government following the release of an official solicitation. *** All responses to this pre-solicitation notice shall be in writing; NO TELEPHONE INQUIRES WILL BE ACCEPTED.
