Description

This�100% Small Business Set Aside is for a single award for the Kitchen Exhaust Hood Cleaning and�Ductwork Cleaning at Tobyhanna Army Depot. The acquisition shall be conducted in accordance with FAR Part 12, Acquisitions of Commercial Items and FAR Part 13.5, Simplified Procedures for Certain Commercial Items, as applicable. The resultant award will be a Hybrid Contract with Firm Fixed Pricing for the Kitchen Exhaust and Labor Hour for the Ductwork Cleaning. A site visit is scheduled for February 25, 2020 at 1000, see solicitation for additional information. Kitchen Exhaust Hood Cleaning -�The contractor shall furnish all supervision, labor, equipment and materials in performing all operations in connection with the pressure washing and chemically cleaning of sixteen (16) kitchen�exhaust hoods, filters, associated ductwork and fans of exhaust hood systems located in TYAD designated areas. The acceptable minimum standards for cleaning services will be performed on tri-annual, bi-annual and annual basis as required by the NFPA 96 standards. � Duct Work Cleaning - The contractor shall furnish all supervision, labor, equipment and materials in performing all operations in connection with the cleaning of duct work and associated air handling equipment at various locations throughout the TYAD. The cleaning services will be performed on an on-call basis (as needed). As the cleaning of each duct work and associated air handler equipment system is completed a description of the each systems condition along with a description of any corrective measures taken, shall be annotated on an inspection form (for each system). The forms will be signed by the service technician.
