Description
STATEMENT OF WORK OBJECTIVE: The objective of this contract is to provide the Central Alabama Veterans Health Care System (CAVHCS) with a contractual obligation with qualified contractor to complete the following work. This contract shall not require access to a VA system or VA sensitive information (e.g., system administrator privileged access to a VA system, or contractor systems or processes that utilize VA sensitive information). SITE VISIT: Site visit upon request will be allowed. Please let marc.newbern@va.gov know by 3:00 pm on Wednesday February 19. CONTRACTOR RESPONSIBILTY: The Contractor shall provide all labor, material, supplies, equipment and supervision necessary for execution of this contract. Contractor shall be responsible for the following: Replacement of (2) Siemens model VBE310.F133X- VFDBY, 480v, 10hp, nema1, elc. VFD s are located in bldg. 129 room GA 104 (AHU2 supply fan) and one is located in bldg. 120 (HW pump) located in the basement equipment room. Both VFD s are very accessible. Work will involve the replacement of existing units with same or equal brand name products. Equipment must be new and have a disconnect switch which provides emergency bypass. All support equipment (motor, controls etc. ) are assumed to be in proper working order. Quote is for labor and material, replacement equipment and the power up and the setting of parameters for the units. Work to be completed during regular work hours and installation of final connections and equipment to be coordinated. Performance Period: Job must be complete within 10 business days after award. HOURS OF WORK: The work can be completed any time with coordination with the COR. WARRANTY: Contractor shall warrant that the equipment shall be free of defects in materials and workmanship arising from normal usage for a period of at least one year.
