VHA NCO 17- Dallas, Texas Vendor Fair for Mechanical Ventilation Tentative date March 5, 2020 by appointment only The US Department of Veterans Affairs Healthcare System, Network Contracting Office 17, is sponsoring a vendor fair for Mechanical Ventilation Vendor Registration and information can be accessed by contacting: Hattie Williams @ Hattie.williams@va.gov or 972-708-0808 The following are items we would like to see: 1. Adult ICU Invasive/non-Invasive microprocessor controlled mechanical ventilator with rolling stand capable of invasive, non-invasive and high flow ventilation. 2. Modes to include: AC (volume/pressure), SIMV (volume/Pressure), Spontaneous PS/CPAP, PRVC, APRV and Neurologically/diaphragm assist. Triggers to include Flow, pressure and diaphragm assist trigger. 3. Transpulmonary pressure measurements via balloon esophageal tube. 4. Multi-view color touch screen with loops and/or custom view screen 5. Internal/external power supply (rechargeable external battery power that is hot swappable) 6. CO2 monitoring capability 7. Continuous nebulizer capability 8. Fio2 21%-100% 9. Must have a device driver information interface that transmit outbound data via delimited HL7 or string messaging or API s with ability to interface with Clinicomp Essentris and Cerner. 10. Ability to measure static pressure/static compliance, weaning parameters. 11. Ability for expansion/upgrade to software. 12. Technical training for In-house Biomed Engineering. 13. Adjustable alarm level with different tone for severity of alarm. Also visual alarm (lights) 14. Adjustable screen brightness.
