Description

NOTICE OF INTENT to Sole Source Requirement for Trash Pick-up and Disposal Services Sol. No. 140R3020Q0033 This solicitation is being advertised as a noncompetitive sole source solicitation as provided under FAR 13 and 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. The Department of the Interior, Bureau of Reclamation, Region 8 - Lower Colorado Basin, Lower Colorado Regional Office (LCRO) has a requirement for Trash Pick-up and Disposal Services for all their offices within Boulder City, Nevada. Trash pick-up must occur at least two (2) times per week and also occur regularly during non-business hours. The only company known to be able to perform these services for the LCROs location(s) is Boulder Disposal, Inc., located in Boulder City, NV. The NAICS for this action is 562111, Solid Waste Collection, which has a small business size standard of $41.5 million. Award is anticipated in June 2020. The resulting contract will be a Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) with a five (5) year performance period, in which Firm-Fixed Price BPA Calls will be issued for services. All responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation, which shall be considered by the agency. All documents submitted must contain an explanation and evidence as to how your company would be able to perform these services in the specified location. Submissions are due by Friday, March 6, 2020 at 4:30PM local time. The contract award information will be posted on the BetaSAM website at https://beta.sam.gov/.
