Description

Sole Source In-Lieu Fee NAICS�� 924120 Subject:� Notice Regarding Naval Facilities Engineering Command (NAVFAC) Northwest intends to enter into a Sole Source In-Lieu Fee Contract to purchase compensatory mitigation credits for the Service Pier Extension at Naval Base Kitsap Bangor, Silverdale, Washington.��� In accordance with FAR and DFARS, Part 6.302-1, Naval Facilities Engineering Command Northwest intends to enter into a compensatory mitigation contract for In-Lieu credits with Hood Canal Coordinating Council for a period of two years commencing on or around 30 April 2020.� DFARS PGI 206.302-1 requires that a �Request for Information� or �Sources Sought� notice be advertised when other than full and open competition will be sought for a procurement that uses �Only One Source and no Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements� as the justification. In this case, the current and only provider for mitigation credits at NAVFAC Northwest is the Hood Canal Coordinating Council.� This advertisement fulfills the DFARS requirement. An approved Justification and Authorization (J&A) will be published within 14 days of contract award.
