- THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION FOR QUOTES. THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT SYNOPSIS ONLY. The Department of Interior, Bureau of Reclamation, Columbia-Pacific Northwest District 9 has a requirement to administer the tasks associated with operations and maintenance of the stream gauge on the Payette River basin and its tributary near Sweet, Idaho. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) is 541990 and the size standard is $16.5 million. The work consists of flow measurements, sensor calibration, site maintenance, and streamflow records on existing equipment. The Government intends to procure specialized services on a single-source basis, in accordance with 41.U.S.C.1901 as implemented by FAR 13.501, Only One Responsible using Simplified Acquisitions Procedures. The entity to which the Government intends to award is Idaho Department of Water Resources (IDWR). Reclamation intends to award one firm fixed-price contract. The initial period of performance (base year) shall be approximately March 1, 2020 through February 28, 2021, with four 1-year options with an end period of performance of February 28, 2025. THIS NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS and no solicitation will be issued. Interested persons may identify their interest and/or provide a capability statement to Ms. Melissa Landreth, Contract Specialist, by email at mlandreth@usbr.gov. All capability statements received within 10 days after the publication of this announcement will be considered by Reclamation. A determination by Reclamation not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of Reclamation. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
