- Project Number 636-18-302, Demo Outdated Buildings (Omaha, NE) The Contractor shall provide all services necessary to adequately support the demolition of multiple buildings at the Nebraska-Western Iowa Health Care System Omaha campus. The work covered by this Statement of Work (SOW) consists of furnishing all labor, equipment, materials, travel, testing, and permits required to perform the work described herein within the framework of the contract. The work will be required to be completed within 90 calendar days from Notice to Proceed (NTP). The Contractor shall completely prepare site for operations, including demolition and removal of existing structures, and furnish labor and materials and perform work for the removal of electrical, HVAC, sewer, and water utility connections associated with various buildings that are subject to demolition under this project as required by the SOW, drawings, and specifications and in compliance with the most current version of all applicable codes including, but not limited to: NFPA 101, International Building Code, ASHRAE, National Electric Code, VA Barrier Free Design Guide, and VA guidelines for patient safety and infection control. All work is to be closely coordinated with the VA Contracting Officer (CO) and Contracting Officer's Representative (COR). Contractor shall remove all debris from VA property and provide waste reports to Contracting Officer Representative (COR). Solicitation Number 36C26320B0002 is tentatively scheduled to be posted to FedBizOpps (www.fedbizopps.gov) on or about Jan 24, 2020. This solicitation will contain all necessary specifications, drawings and other information necessary to bid the project. Duration of the project should not exceed 90 Calendar Days from receipt of the Notice to Proceed (NTP). SET-ASIDE INFORMATION: This solicitation is set-aside for Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSBs) under Public Law 109-461. The offeror MUST be registered in both the System for Award Management (SAM) www.sam.gov and the VA Vendor Information Pages (VIP) https://vip.vetbiz.va.gov/ at the time of proposal submission and maintain these registrations to be considered eligible for award. All firms must also be registered with the Center for Verification and Evaluation (CVE) and verified as an SDVOSB according to the tenets found in Title 38 Code of Federal Regulations (CFR) Part 74 and�13 CFR Part 125 that address Veteran eligibility, ownership, and control. In order to qualify for participation in the Veterans First Contracting Program, eligible SDVOSBs must first be verified. PROJECT MAGNITUDE: Between $100,000 to $250,000 NAICS CODE: 238910 BUSINESS SIZE STANDARD: $16.5 Million BONDS: A Bid Bond will be required to be submitted with the proposal. Payment and Performance bonds will be required within 10 calendar days of award.
