BICiv Buy Indian Set-Aside (specific to Department of Health and Human Services, Indian Health Services)
 

Description

The Indian Health Service (IHS), Albuquerque Area Office, Zuni Comprehensive Community Health Center has a requirement for Services for Eight (8) Registered Nurse (RN) positions, and One (1) Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)/License Vocational Nurse (LVN), for Nursing services in the Urgent Care Emergency Room, In-Patient and Obstetrics (OB) departments. This requirement is Set-Aside for Small Business Indian Firms (SBIF) pursuant to the Buy Indian Act 25 U.S.C. 47. �If IHS does not receive at least two offers that are reasonably priced offers from SBIF�s, IHS will than evaluate quotes and consider award to other small business concerns under the following 5-tier cascading set-aside (in order to first consideration to last consideration): First Tier: Small Business Indian Firms, Second Tier: Service Disabled Veteran-Owned Business and Third Tier: Certified HUBZone Small Business and Fourth Tier: Small Disadvantage Business, Fifth: All other Small Business Concerns.
