Description

The U.S. Army Contracting Command � New Jersey, on behalf of Program Executive Office (PEO) Soldier hereby invites you to participate in the PEO Soldier Smart Rail Government-Industry Collaborative Meetings starting with a virtual meeting in March 2020. This effort is envisioned to be a series of virtual meetings conducted via teleconference where physical attendance is not required though the Government reserves the right to hold face to face meetings in the future. In order to join the collaborative meetings, all interested parties will need to sign a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) in order to receive the date and time of the conferences with associated conference phone number. The intent of the collaborative meetings will be to hold several meetings over the period of 2-3 months in order to facilitate an environment where input from government and industry partners can provide ideas on how to update the Picatinny Smart Rail Interface Control Document (ICD). The underlying intention of the government is create an open architecture / open source ICD that uses the latest industry standards that will optimize integration onto the Smart Rail by all interested stake holders. Currently, the Picatinny Smart Rail ICD defines the mechanical, electrical and network compatibility requirements that must be met by Picatinny Smart Rail connected devices. In order to register and participate in the collaborative meetings, you must contact Rafael Santana, Contract Specialist via email at Rafael.Santana28.civ@mail.mil to receive the NDA documentation. Upon our receipt of the completed NDA, you will receive a meeting invite with dial-in information as well as access to the ICD. All Previous U.S. Government issued NDAs are not considered relevant to this effort.
