Description

NAVSEA, Southeast Maintenance Center (SERMC) is hosting an Industry Engagement Day, on Wednesday March 18th, from 8:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the University of North Florida Adam W. Herbert University Center located in Jacksonville, Florida.�� The Industry Engagement Day will provide a venue for SERMC to discuss its mission, goals, and contracting opportunities with industry representatives. SERMC's Mission is to provide cost-effective quality maintenance and technical support delivering mission ready ships utilizing our diverse and highly-trained workforce.� Our Vision is to support our nation's maritime dominance by being the premier Regional Maintenance Center for NAVSEA and the Fleet. SERMC's Area of Responsibility�(AOR) extends from Charleston, S.C. to South America. The intent of this engagement is to specifically address the following:� COMMUNICATE upcoming contracting opportunities Establish a annual engagement between SERMC and industry to directly affect and improve contracting of repair and services at all levels Facilitate ENGAGEMENT between small business and large business to improve outcomes and competition Directions to 12000 Alumni Drive, Jacksonville, FL� 32224:� Attendees can take Butler Blvd East from Interstate 95, exiting at Kernan Blvd. Alumni Drive will be just north of this exit and intersects with Kernan. There is a left turn lane at the signal light. The Adam W. Herbert University Center is immediately on your left and there is ample parking. Who Should Attend:� Any contractors interested in contracting and subcontracting opportunities with NAVSEA, Southeast Maintenance Center (SERMC).
