- INDUSTRY DAY F-35 JOINT PROGRAM OFFICE � ALARM SYSTEMS HARDWARE REQUIREMENT 1.� Introduction and Overview. This is an Industry Day announcement.� This announcement is for informational and planning purposes and does not constitute a Request for Proposal (RFP) or a promise to issue an RFP in the future. The F-35 Joint Program Office (JPO), in conjunction with the Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division (NAWCAD) Lakehurst, is conducting an Alarm Systems Industry Day.� Vendors who sell and install alarm systems hardware that is FPS compliant are encouraged to attend.� The F-35 JPO is seeking industry inputs for alarm systems hardware to be installed in various F-35 facilities in Arlington, VA.� The alarm systems hardware must be Federal Protective Services (FPS)* compliant.� Should a solicitation be posted, it will be classified under NAICS 334290 (Other Communications Equipment Manufacturing).� Attached you will find additional details regard the alarms systems requirement. All changes or updates to Industry Day will be posted on https://beta.sam.gov/.� No updates will be provided by Government personnel.� All inquiries must be posted and will be addressed through the https://beta.sam.gov/ website only.� 2.� Industry Day Instructions. Please read carefully 1. Date and Time:� 18 February 2020 from 09:00 AM � 12:00 PM (Eastern Time) 2. Location: Please arrive in the lobby of 200 12th Street South, Arlington, VA� 22202.� Thereafter, participants will be badged and taken to a conference room for Industry Day. 3. RSVP by 12 Feb 2020 at 5:00 PM Eastern Time via funmi.williams@jsf.mil.� Please submit the following information: Attendee Name(s) (Due to availability of space, companies are limited to two (2) attendees each)� Company Name/Address/Country/Phone Number/Email Cage Code 4. Other Important Details:� Please bring a valid U.S. state or federally issued ID.� Participants will have the opportunity to walk the different F-35 facilities to assess our current alarm systems construct.� Please ensure that you have comfortable walking shoes as you may be required to walk up to 1/2 mile to tour our other facilities.� No photography will be allowed.� You may bring non-electronic measuring tools.� 5. One-on-One Meetings: The Government is contemplating holding one-on-one meetings with vendors after completion of Industry Day.� Each session will be about 20-30 minutes. �Government reserves the right not to convene set meetings.�� It is vendors� burden to monitor posting site for updates.� �*FPS is a Department of Homeland Security Management Directorate that will be in charge of overseeing and monitoring the alarm systems for the F-35 JPO.
