- Description
- The 355th Contracting Squadron intends to issue a sole-source procurement action with BAE Systems for the procurement of the following items: Chaff-Flare Test Set (1 each) NSN: 4920-01-423-8143 to support the F-16 Maintenance Operations at the 309th Aerospace Maintenance and Regeneration Group (AMARG). � This requirement is accomplished in accordance with FAR Part 13.106-1(b)(1) Soliciting from a Single Source. BAE Systems has been identified by Aircraft Item Managers and Special Project Officers as an authorized distributor of these assets and approved by the Air Force Materiel Command (AFMC) HQ Command Program and Policy Manager via Local Purchase Waiver. This is a notice of intent to award a sole source procurement action and is not a request for competitive proposals.� Questions regarding this notice must be submitted by Monday, 10�Feb 2020 at 10:00am EST to Contract Specialist Rachelle Jenkins at email rachelle.jenkins.3@us.af.mil or phone (520) 228-3095 or Contracting Officer Breysi Stephens, at e-mail breysi.stephens@us.af.mil, or phone (520) 228-3582. �All inquiries received will be evaluated; however, a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. �Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. �The 355th Contracting Office will not reimburse for any costs connected with providing the capability information.
