Description

The US Coast Guard SILC BSS Procurement and Contacting department, Base Miami Beach on behalf of U.S. Coast Guard Sector Jacksonville Florida intends to award a sole source firm fixed price service purchase order for the emergency sewage pipe repairs at Coast Guard Sector Jacksonville, Atlantic Beach, FL. Based on an Unusual and Compelling urgency need for this repair to occur.� Currently the Sewage system on the base is secured, causing the shutdown of the Base Galley disrupting duty standing personnel at Coast Guard Station Mayport who no longer have access to restroom and showers. The scope of work for this project includes the pre lining video inspection, post lining video inspection, hydro jet/descale pipe cleaning, sediment and debris removal, and lining broken cast iron pipes. The contractor is responsible for the disposal of all waste and all construction debris accrued by the project. The contractor shall provide all labor and equipment to accomplish the scope of this work.� Interested parties that believe they could satisfy the requirements listed above must clearly identify their capability to do so in writing on or before the response date for this notice. This notice of intent is not a solicitation. Information submitted in response to this notice will be used solely to determine whether competitive procedures could be used for this acquisition. Responses to this notice must demonstrate clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government, would not be cost or time prohibitive, and would not delay the start of sewage repairs to the unit. The determination not to compete this proposed contract action is solely within the discretion of the Government. The Government will not be responsible for any costs incurred by responding to this notice. This is NOT a request for quotes or proposals.
