Description
Amendment 01, 6 Feb 2020; changes to the Request for Quote are as follows::� 1.� Brand Name Justification is removed and changed to brand name or equal.� The following is added: ���� Products offered must meet the following critera: ��������� Filter inserts must fit inside existing cabinets. ��������� The physical shape and bolt-pattern of the filter insert must be consistent with the current cabinets. ���������� Mounting holes (filter to cabinet) must be exact. ���������� See attachments 1, 2, 3, and 4 for reference. ���������� Must meet requirements of MIL-STD-188-125-1 2.� FOB Destination is changed from 15 August 2020 to 22 September 2020. The Missile Defense Agency/Ground-based Midcourse Defense Program (GMD), has a requirement to purchase High Voltage High-altitude Electromagnetic Pulse (HEMP) Filters required to meet MIL-STD-188-125-1 and to fit the current HEMP cabinets located at Missile Defense Complex, Fort Greely, Alaska.� GMD requires the purchase of Tyco Electronics (TE) Corporation HEMP filters. �TE HEMP filters are designed to protect sensitive electronics equipment during hazardous transient conditions and adverse effects of electromagnetic radiation created by a nuclear explosion. These filters are employed to absorb a potentially destructive overshoot voltage and meet the requirements of MIL-STD-188-125-1.� Offerors shall structure their quote to include a price for all items as listed and described in/for CLIN 0001 and CLIN 0002 below, as well as the shipping cost to destination at Fort Greely, Alaska 99731.
