AMENDMENT NOTICE / QUESTIONS & ANSWERS Amendment 0001 correcting delivery date and extending response date has been posted in addition to Q&A Version 2 QUESTIONS & ANSWERS Q&A Version 1 has been posted. PRESOLICITATION/SOLICITATION NOTICE Requirement: Create shaded fuelbreak with a combination of mechanical brush removal and mechanical thinning to a desired distance thinning the conifers to�a desired spacing as well as remove the brush understory on 100' of either side of the road in the area of high voltage KV lines. Approximately 134 acres. Contract Time: It is estimated the project will start in April 2020 and be completed by July 2020 Set Asides: This procurement is being solicited as a small business set-aside. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 115310. The related small business size standard is $20.5M. Solicitation Info: Solicitation is being conducted under FAR Part 12. All responsible sources may submit a quote, which shall be considered. Site Visit: No organized site visit is being held. Quoters are urged and expected to visit the site on their own. Inquiries: Any prospective quoter with contractual and technical questions of the solicitation, drawings, specifications, etc., must be submitted in writing via email to tmarino@fs.fed.us. No telephone questions will be accepted. It is recommended that they be submitted no later than 5 calendar days prior to the closing date of the solicitation to all a reply to reach all prospective quoters before the solicitation closing date. Questions received after that time may not receive a response. Oral explanations or instructions given before the award of a contract will not be binding. Notifications: In accordance with FAR 5.102(d), the government is limiting the availability of the solicitation to electronic medium through this posting on beta.sam.gov. Notification of any postponements and any amendments to this solicitation will be posted on this website. It is the sole responsibility of the quoter to continually view this website for any amendments made to this solicitation. Award notifications will be made to this notice. Early notification will not be made to any quoter except Awarded Contractor.
