Description
BLM-CO-NWD - WILDCAT JUNIPER REDUCTION - 517 Acres near Maybelle, CO The Bureau of Land Management - Colorado State office will soon solicit for bids for the work described below. This solicitation may be open for either open market or to our new list of IDIQ holders which is still being worked on. Further set-asides beyond small business may be determined during additional market research or in response to interest from this notice. Note, this requirement is currently subject to availability of funding. No award will be made until funds or available and the Government reserves the right to cancel at any time. Any activities you engage in prior to award is totally at your own risk. 1. Abbreviated Statement of Work: 1. GENERAL: 1.1 The Government requires fuels management services to treat 517 acres of vegetation to reduce the risk of wildland fires. 1. 2 Description of Work: Cut and shred (general masticate) juniper trees with a Contractor furnished machine (e.g. Hydro-Ax, Fecon Bull Hog). 1.3 Location: 4 miles north of Maybell, CO. T7N R95W Sections 15-17 1.4 Access to the Work: Access to the work sites shall be provided by and at the contractor�s expense. Public or private roads damaged by the contractor shall be restored, at the contractor�s expense, to the same condition they were in at the commencement of work. Project is accessible from Moffat County and BLM roads. 1.5 Contract duration: Work may begin upon contract award and must be completed within 90 days after the notice to Proceed. No work can be done between 5/15/2020 and 7/15/2020 due to migratory birds. 1.6 Pre-Bid Site Visit: To be determined. 2. Basic Contract Requirements - Active Registration - www.sam.gov - now is the time to fix this if you are not registered or expired. Check now and if you need assistance, call the Contracting Officer or the Procurement Technical Assistance Center. - Invoicing and Payment - www.ipp.gov - FAR Part 12 - Commercial Item - FAR Part 13 - Simplified Acquisition Procedures - Service Contract Act wage requirements for Moffat County, CO - Total Small Business Set-Aside for NAICS 115310 with a size standard of $20.5M - Award Basis - Low Price Technically Acceptable - with a heavy emphasis on technical acceptability (mastication experience, equipment, manpower, etc) No response is required at this time, but I look forward to your questions and interest in this requirement.
