- Special Notice:� Industry Days/Site Visit FA700020R0002 Center for Aircraft Structural Life Extension (CAStLE) Description: This announcement serves as an Industry Day notice issued for the purpose of market research in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 10 for an upcoming acquisition at the United States Air Force Academy (USAFA):� FA70002R0002 Center for Aircraft Structural Life Extension (CAStLE) requirement. Industry Day is scheduled for Tuesday February 18, 2020 at 01:00 PM Mountain Standard Time (MST) and will take place at the USAFA, Colorado Springs CO.� The purpose of the industry day is to give potential Offerors a better understanding of the CAStLE requirement.� The goal of this acquisition is a transparent and regulatory compliant acquisition, which promotes competition and acquisition innovation, and delivers best value to CAStLE so they can successfully execute their mission. Attendance at the Industry Day is not mandatory nor a prerequisite for proposal submission and will not be considered in the evaluation process. Each company is limited to three attendees. One-on-One meetings are not scheduled during this event. The Government may elect to record (audio and/or video) all or portions of Industry Day as its exclusive right and property.� The Government will not provide a copy of any recording to any potential offeror/contractor.� Offerors are prohibited from making independent recordings of the oral sessions by any means or method.� The written terms and conditions of the final solicitation will govern over any information presented. The slides, documents, and Question and Answers will be shared through a notice on beta. Sam after the event.
