- Page 2 of 2 In accordance with FAR 13.106-1(b) this Notice of Intent is to inform all parties the Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office (NCO) 19 located at 6162 South Willow Drive Suite 300, Greenwood Village, CO 80111 intends to award a sole source procurement for the following requirement to the large business manufacturer, General Electric Company (GE), located at 3000 N Grandview Blvd W-443, Waukesha, Wisconsin 53118. The requirement is for preventive maintenance, including inspections, servicing of emerging breakdowns, and repairs of medical radiographic imaging systems currently installed in the George E. Whalen VA Medical Center, Radiology Department, Building 1 & 14, 500 Foothill Drive, Salt Lake City, UT 84148 for the period of February 5, 2020 through February 4, 2021. The preventative maintenance covers 30 different GE systems and modalities. The major systems are: a) Eaton MV PR Eaton EXRT-GE 11kVA UPS (SEA123), b) GE MV PR GE Digital Energy UPS 10 KVA (SGE106), c) GE Workstation Advantage Workstation 4.4 (WNH440) Workstation 4.5 (WNH450), d) GE CT Lightspeed VCT (64 SLICE) (CSPG01), e) GE MR 1.5T HDx Echospeed (nonmobile) (MSF040), f) GE MR MR Magnet Maintenance and Cryogen (MSC28Z), g) GE NM Infinia with Hawkeye (NMH821) (NMH922), h) GE Workstation Xeleris Workstation 1.X (NXELUP), Workstation 2.X (NX2UPG), (2) Workstation 1.X (NXELDT), i). GE Pet Discovery VCT (PSPVCT), j). GE XR OEC Series 9800 (XMS530), k). GE XR OEC Series 9900 Motorized MTS/Cardiac (XMS594), l). (3) GE XR OEC Series 9900 Elite (XMS580) and m). GE Workstation Advantage Workstation 4.7 (W47H03) GE maintains proprietary software and technologies relating to the installed equipment. Access to GE technical and clinical applications support is required, enabling continuous scanning capability while troubleshooting and to stay on schedule with services for Veterans. All maintenance and services must be warranted from GE by using GE sourced parts, materials, service representatives, and maintaining the ability to receive GE sourced maintenance of the equipment in the future. The associated North America Classification Systems (NAICS) Code is 811219 and the Small Business Size Standard is $22.0M. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES. Interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to this requirement no later than 4:00 PM Eastern Standard Time, Friday February 7, 2020. Information received in response to this notice must clearly demonstrate the capability of meeting the Government s need as stated above. Include any relevant information (specifications, cut sheets, brochures, capability statement, etc.) confirming the ability to supply the products and/or any services outlined in this notice. Responses to this notice are to be sent to ladonna.collins@va.gov. A determination not to compete this requirement, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the Government. The Government is not responsible for any potential costs incurred from interested parties desiring to respond to this notice.
