Description
This is not a request for quotes or proposals; the Government is seeking information for market research purposes only. The Department of Veterans Affairs, VA Caribbean Healthcare System, Network Contracting Office 8-San Juan, Puerto Rico is currently conducting a market survey for potential qualified firms capable of providing cleaning services of exhaust systems. The intention of this is to remove combustible contaminants from hoods, fans, ducts, and other appurtenances to reduce potential fire hazards from cooking operations. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) is 561790 with Size Standard in Number of Employees of $8.0 million. Responses to this notice shall include company/individual name, a service capability statement, examples of similar facilities which you have provided services. Include your DUNS number, address, point of contact. Contractor must be registered in the beta.SAM.gov. The internet site is: https://beta.sam.gov. A solicitation is not currently available. If a solicitation is issued, it will be announced later under the same internet site: https://beta.sam.gov. All interested parties must respond to that solicitation announcement separately from the responses to this Sources Sought announcement. E-mail: mary.gugliano@va.gov. Specific areas to be addressed in the capability package submitted by respondents are as follows: Contractor shall provide evidence that cleaning procedures of all exhaust systems, i.e. duct hoods, fans, fan housings and ductwork will comply with NFPA 96 Standard. Contractor shall provide indication of qualified, experienced and well-trained workers who are skilled in performing the requirements of this contract. Responses to this notice will be used by the Government to make appropriate acquisition decisions. It is anticipated that the contract will be a Firm Fixed Price with a Base Period and Four Optional Periods of twelve (12) months each. Copy of the SOW is hereby attach to this Sources Sought. ANY INTERESTED SMALL BUSINESSES should submit a capability statement that demonstrates the firm s ability to perform all requested in the Statement of Work. Standard company brochures will not be considered sufficient response to this Sources Sought. In the capability s statements, contractors should provide the size status for the above reference NAICS Code (i.e. small, large) and whether they are certified SDVOSB, VOSB, HUBZONE, 8(a) and Women-Owned or small business concerns. Responses to this notice must be submitted to mary.gugliano@va.gov no later than February 4, 2020 on or before 11:59PM Eastern time.
