Lynn Pettit Contracting Officer CONTINUATION PAGE Questions/Answers: RFQ 36C25720Q0228 Electrical Work at CCOPC Carport- If bulbs have been changed and not operating -� Who is responsible to troubleshoot solar panel system? The contractor is responsible for ensuring the lights are fully operational. This includes troubleshooting and correcting any element that might be deficient in order to ensure the lights are functional. When stated on SOW ""existing panel "", are we to find the nearest panel in area of work? Currently there are multiple panels in the building. They must use one of the panels available.� � Parking lot light replacements- what if there is no power present at light pole base? Are we responsible for troubleshooting this issue? If so, is there any ""as builts"" on the recent parking lot project? Contractor is responsible for ensuring the parking lot lights are fully operational.� As builts available for the parking lot project. Carport lighting- states light replacement? Are we to replace all lights under carport which is controlled by solar panels? Who will be providing light fixtures/parts for replacement?� All lights must be replaced.� Light fixtures are to be provided by the contractor. Marquee sign- what if there is no power present at marquee sign? Are we responsible for troubleshooting this issue? Power must be available to illuminate the marquee sign.� Contractor is responsible for troubleshooting any electrical issues. Are electrical plans available to do a take off. Electrical plans are available. Are the Electrical Panel Schedule available for locating the existing circuits. Electrical Panel schedule is available. Is the government going to provide temporary lighting during the replacement of concrete transformer pad? If no, do we provide the temporary lighting?� The government will not provide temporary lighting during the replacement of the concrete transformer pad. What will the ICRA level be for the project? Group 1 , Low What type of fence will the VA require around the new transformer pad? Chain link, must have lockable entryway. Can the new transformer pad be built directly behind the old transformer pad? No, it cannot be built behind. Will we have access to the building and mechanical room during the weekend of the shutdown? Access will be provided to the mechanical room if needed and when requested.� Removal of the transformer pad and replacing could take more than a day.� I believe that we can inject Polylift under to level with minimum issues and power outage.� As per solicitation notice, All work to be performed over a 4-day period starting at Friday after 5:00PM-Midnight; Saturday and Sunday 7:00AM and 6:00PM. During a holiday preferably. The solicitation notice does not call for the injection of polylift to level the transformer pad.� It calls for a complete replacement. the power to be shut down by the power company Contractor must Schedule AEP to disconnect power to transformer The disconnecting of the wiring within the transformer The contractor must disconnect wiring before moving transformer. A crane to lift the transformer off and set it aside. Contractor must provide crane or boom truck to remove transformer from existing pad.
