- Description
- The United States Government represented by the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID), hereby issues a draft Statement of Work (SOW) for the proposed USAID's Financial Reform Activity in Bosnia-Herzegovina: Greater fiscal accountability and transparency in Bosnia-Herzegovina. The purpose of this activity is to implement a set of fiscal reforms that will be supported by Information Technology (IT) interventions, with the goal of greater fiscal accountability and transparency in both BiH entities and enhanced services for citizens and private sector.� The activity has two main purposes: First to improve fiscal discipline and fiscal regulatory framework conducive to business in BiH; and second, to improve overall public financial management through enhanced fiscal planning, tax compliance, control of spending, and debt management. This draft SOW is distributed for industry�comments on the content of the attached document.�To assist in the efficiency of this process, please consider the following in preparation of your comments: - Please ensure comments are concise and specific to information included within the draft SOW; - Please ensure submitted comments make specific reference to page and section numbers. - USAID does not seek questions at this time, only comments. Comments are to be sent via e-mail to the individual�specified under this notice as the primary point�of contact. Due date for submission of comments is February 6, 2020, 15:00 CET. Please reference opportunity number 72016820R00001�in the subject of your e-mail. No phone calls will be accepted. Please do not consider this request for�comments as an RFP and do not submit your proposals until the formal RFP is posted to beta.sam.gov. This notice does not obligate USAID to release a solicitation or award a contract, nor does it commit the government to pay for costs incurred in the preparation and submission of comments.
