Description
SCOPE OF WORK Fort Meade Boiler Water Chemical Testing Vendor will provide chemicals and monthly chemical testing/analysis for SULFITE, AMINE, ALKALINITY, TDS or MICRO-MHON, PPM FOR BOILER WATER SOLIDS for three high pressure boilers located in Bldg. 137 at the VA BHHCS Fort Meade Medical Center. All services will be performed during normal working hours, 8am 4pm. Water test parameter limits are as follows Boilers Feedwater Condensate RO Conductivity as mmhos: 1,800-2,200 50 Max 60 Max 60 Max Sulfite PPM as SO3 20-60 Polymer 40-60 Hardness, Total PPM as CACO3 1 Max Iron (Fe) 0.15 Max pH 8.0-9.5 Vendor will test/calibrate equipment monthly and advise additions/deletions to the boilers. One copy of the water report will include equipment tested, report number and for the person completing the test, the specific tests conducted, test results, test parameters, and recommended actions. Vender will also provide controllers, ball valves, pumps, sample coolers, injection quills, feed manifolds, and chemical storage containers necessary for chemical testing and chemical. introduction as required for chemicals used in the water conditioning program. Vendor will provide MSDS information for all chemicals provided. Chemicals provided will be in such amounts to treat the boiler water continuously for a 60month period. Chemicals will be delivered to Bldg. 137. Billings will be made monthly for testing services and chemical costs. Water conditioning/testing chemicals to be provided include at a minimum the following labeled chemicals: B-731 B-663 SC-60 B-750 Hardness Reagent TE424-53 (Code 424-53) Starch Acid Indicator TE105-Q (Code 40) Iodate Iodide TE14961-01 (#14961-01) Sulfuric Acid TE14389-01 (#14389-01) EDTA Salt TE14399-01 (#14399-01) Phenophthalein TE393-H (Code 32) BCG Indicator TE943-99 Polymer Reagent #1 TE7438-H Polymer Reagent #2 TE7439-H Hardness Indictor TE257-V (Code 20)
