The lights are designed to be night vision device (NVD) compatible, and meet the low radar cross section and interface requirements unique to the applicable ship classes. Each light fixture targeted for this RFI is comprised of a lamp assembly or light fixture, including a LED board assembly and an Aluminum or steel base or fixture, and a lens within a lens retainer and/or window assembly. To support long-term supportability and survivability needs, the Navy is requesting information for potential lens replacement. The replacement would be utilized in new procurement builds of entire light assemblies, as well as spare parts for existing fixtures. The replacement lens shall fit into the existing enclosure assembly and meet all necessary performance characteristics, as well as be capable of withstanding the specified environmental conditions. The Navy would entertain incorporating modifications to the existing enclosure, if necessary, and if the resulting product met our needs for a supportable, survivable lens.
