- Looking for possible sources for the following: Statement of Work: Disconnect all mechanical and electrical utilities to 2 fume hoods in separate labs. Disassemble and remove all related old parts and utilities and electrical connections of the existing fume hood in each room and remove all items and fume hoods from site entirely. All scrap metal can be put in our metal recycling dumpster. Install our new Kewaunee Scientific Corporation fume hoods in location of old fume hood and make all necessary repairs to walls, floors, ceilings, etc., with tie in of electrical and mechanical connections as required to make the new fume hoods fully functional as manufacturer recommendations require. Reconnect and make operational all utilities/electrical/Building Automation System (BAS) (Siemens) for the new fume hood. Test and Balance these new fume hoods to USDA/ARS/SRRC specifications and put a sticker on the fume hood attesting to the passing of all USDA/ARS/Safety criteria with date and time. Tie in and make operational all systems needed for the Siemens Building Automation System protocol to continuously monitor new hood 24/7/365 live per second. Will require testing and coordination with Siemens to achieve desired standards for ARS Laboratories. Correct and repair all walls, ceiling, floors, doors, door frames and side walls as needed for demolition of old units and installation of New Units in these two laboratories. This will include repairing all damages incurred moving all items, fume hoods, materials, etc. in and out of the spaces that work is performed in. Turn off/Disconnect, disassemble, and remove all utilities/electrical connections for fume hood exhaust fan/VSD units in the attic and removal of all old and used materials from the building and site. Test and run fume hoods continuously for 48 hours with no malfunctions of any type or system related to the fume hoods including Siemens BAS system. Provide a one-year warranty from date of acceptance on all labor and materials, to include craftsmanship, all electronic, electrical, and mechanical parts and systems. This includes all tie ins and connections to existing systems of any type, form or manner. MUST be allowed to install these Fume Hoods from Kewaunee Scientific Corporation. Put name or card of business on units for future reference and warranty work required. The NAICS code for this requirement is 238220; the small business size standard is $15 Million.
