PLAIN WEAVE CLOTH NSN: 8305-00-148-7364(s) Spec: MIL-C-20079H, TYPE 1 CLASS 9, CLOTH, GLASS; TAPE, TEXTILE GLASS; AND THREAD, GLASS AND WIRE-REINFORCED GLASS Pattern date: 10 July 1987 �Base year and two (1 year) Option terms Quantity Requirements for each term: ����������������������� MIN (Rolls)��� AEQ (Rolls)* MAX (Rolls) Base��������������� 216����������������� 864����������������� 1,200 Option I ���������� 216�����������������864����������������� 1,200 Option II���������� 216�����������������864����������������� 1,200 *Annual Estimated Quantity Destination: This acquisition is a Stock Buy with a delivery address: Arizona Industries for the Blind in Phoenix Arizona (DODAAC UY8615, RIC: VSGX). The acquisition is for the manufacturing and delivery of the PLAIN WEAVE CLOTH. The solicitation will be issued as a Total Small Business set aside. One solicitation for the acquisition of PLAIN WEAVE CLOTH will be issued using an Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity, Firm-Fixed Price type contracts. This acquisition will consist of a one year base term and two one-year option terms. The contractor will be responsible for inspection and acceptance of this item before shipping the item to the Depots. The solicitation will result in an Indefinite Delivery Purchase Order with a base term and two options term years. The quantities for the base and option year term are noted above. The PLAIN WEAVE CLOTH shall be manufactured in accordance with MIL-C-20079H, TYPE 1 CLASS 9, CLOTH, GLASS; TAPE, TEXTILE GLASS; AND THREAD, GLASS AND WIRE-REINFORCED GLASS, pattern dated 10 July 1987. This acquisition will utilize Lowest Price Technically Acceptable (LPTA) Best Value Procedures. Technical acceptability will be based on compliance with the solicitation terms and conditions. The anticipated issuance of the solicitation will be on or after February 14, 2020. Production lead time is 120 days after date of award for first delivery and on all follow-on orders. Deliveries are FOB Destination to Arizona Industries for the Blind in Phoenix Arizona (DODAAC UY8615, RIC: VSGX) with Inspection and Acceptance at Origin with all materials used in the fabrication to be furnished by the successful offeror. All responsible sources may submit offers which DLA Troop Support shall consider. Availability of solicitations, FAR 5.102(d) applies, as our office no longer issues solicitations or amendments in paper form. Offeror should register to receive notification of these solicitations or solicitation amendments. The solicitation will be posted on https://www.dibbs.bsm.dla.mil/ after February 14, 2020. A few highlights of the information that will be found include: 1. On the DLA Internet Bulletin Board System (DIBBS) Home Page, click the VENDOR REGISTRATION link to begin the registration process. 2. In order to register for access to secure portions of DLA DIBBS, the company you are representing must already be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM.gov) website. 3. A Commercial and Government Entity (CAGE) Code registration will be processed immediately. A User ID will appear on the registration screen and a password will be sent separately to the email address of the Super User. *If a CAGE is already registered on DLA DIBBS, the name and email address of the Super User will be provided. The Super User should be contacted to set-up additional accounts, logons and passwords for their CAGE. DIBBS Super User * If your CAGE has already been registered on DIBBS, the name and email address of the person designated as your super user will be provided. * The representative who starts the DIBBS registration process has the option to accept their SAM registration POC as the DIBBS super user, or they can designate themselves or another person to act as the super user for the CAGE. * The super user acts as the account administrator for a CAGE. They can add up to ninety-eight (98) additional users, provide user IDs and passwords, modify existing users, and control the login status of each user for their CAGEs through My Account (Account Maintenance). Important Note on Foreign Content: The Defense appropriations and authorization acts and other statutes (including what is commonly referred to as ""The Berry Amendment"") impose restrictions on the DoD's acquisition of foreign products and services. Generally, Clothing and Textile items (as defined in DFARS clause 252.225-7012) and ""specialty metals"" (as defined in DFARS clause 252.225-7014) must be grown, reprocessed, reused, melted or produced in the United States, its possessions or Puerto Rico, unless one of the DFARS 225.7002-2 exceptions applies.
