Description: The US Forest Service requires helicopter services to transport 780 trees from various staging sites (elevation 1,100 �2,000 feet above sea level) to North Fork Winberry Creek and the North Fork Middle Fork Willamette River (elevation 1,500 � 2,000 feet above sea level), destinations ranging from about 0.2 to 0.5 miles from staging sites.� Tree and log weights are estimated at 5,000 pounds and less.� Tree and log lengths range from 25 to 45 feet long.� Access roads to staging areas and service landings are paved or graveled and are accessible by truck.� Material will already be decked from a previous contract.
