Description

This is a notice of intent to sole source a procurement under FAR Part 13 Simplified Acquisition Procedures and FAR 6.302-1 Other Than Full and Open Competition - one responsible source. The applicable NAICS Code is 325998. The USMC Regional Contracting Office (RCO) � Marine Corps Installations-National Capital Region (MCI-NCR) at Quantico Marine Corps Base, VA intends to award a sole source contract to: Terra Group Corporation 735 PITTSTON ST ALLENTOWN, PA, 18103-3256 ,� UNITED STATES The MCI-NCR RCO intends to award this requirement under the authority of FAR 6.302-1(a)(iii), ""Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements."" This requirement is for the procurement of the PPG Accu Tab SI Tablets for the existing Lightweight Water Purification System (LWPS) must use the PPG manufactured product, otherwise it null and voids the existing warranty and could cause issues with the current system and chlorine distribution. Procurement planning for the follow-on effort is currently in process, and award is expected to be made on or around� February 11, 2020, in accordance with fair opportunity under Far Part 13 procedures. The anticipated contract is for a period of performance from 01 May 2020 through 01 September 2020. This notice of intent is NOT a request for competitive quotes; however, all responsible sources may submit a capability statement or quotation which shall be considered by the agency. Capability statements or quotes, if received timely, will be considered; however, a determination by the Government not to compete the requirement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Responses shall be emailed to monica.curley@usmc.mil no later than 10 February 2020, 10:00 a.m. Eastern Time. Late responses will not be considered.
