- Description
- This is a notice of intent to award a sole source, Firm- Fixed Price (FFP) contract under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) - FAR 6.302-1(b)(2) - Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements, to Aggreko LLC, located at 3601 NW 123rd St. Miami, Florida and their local subsidiary in Puerto Rico. The scope of the requirement is to provide a generator and service package that includes: 1500 KW generator, trailer, fuel tank, cables, tails, environmental fees, and remote monitoring of the generator during a four month period. This generator will require to run the entire installation 24 hours a day with no alternate energy source available. Aggreko LLC is the only provider of this equipment in the island available to deliver the product within the required timeframe and is the only known company at this time, which can provide the FBOP with the technical services required for installing and remotely monitoring this equipment during the rental period. The requirement will be awarded by the Federal Bureau of Prisons, at the Metropolitan Detention Center (MDC) Guaynabo, Puerto Rico.� The NAICS code for this requirement is 532490. This notice of intent to award a sole source contract is not a request for competitive quotes.
