Description: Naval Surface Warfare Center, Port Hueneme Division (NSWC PHD), has awarded a firm-fixed-price contract, N6339420C0002, for fabrication, assembly, testing, and delivery of Launch Control Units (LCU) in support of Vertical Launching System (VLS). DRS Laurel Technologies, Johnstown, Pennsylvania, is being awarded a $8,686,145 firm-fixed-price contract for Launch Control Unit MK 235 Mods 11 and 12 production. This contract includes options which, if exercised, would bring the cumulative value of this contract to $44,306,594.
