Description

The Defense Contract Management Agency (DCMA) Procurement Center, located in Fort Lee, Virginia intends to solicit orally and award a firm fixed price purchase order on a sole source basis to Securityhunter, Inc. located at 7249 Ambassador Rd, Baltimore, MD 21244-2710 for DCMA Security Systems maintenance, systems monitoring/repair, and upgrades. The period of performance will be August 28, 2019 through August 27, 2020. The anticipated award date is August 28, 2019. This notice of intent is not a request for quotes. All responsible sources may submit a quotation which shall be considered by the agency; however, a determination by the Government not to compete this proposed purchase order based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of 41 U.S.C. 1901 as prescribed in FAR 13.501(a), Sole Source-only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. A justification to not compete this acquisition has been properly executed and included with this notice. The justification addresses the requirements of FAR 5.207(c)(15), reason for lack of competition. This requirement is classified under North America Industry Classification System (NAICS) 561621 with a size standard of $20.5 mil. The Product or Service Code (PSC) is J063. If you feel your firm possess the ability to meet this requirement, then you must respond by demonstrating your firm's technical capability to meet these requirements no later than 9:00 AM EST on September 4, 2019 to Hatasha Hanley, email hatasha.t.hanley.civ@mail.mil.
